Keeping Seniors Safe Is Our Priority!
Be on the look-out for signs of abuse in the elderly. They may include:

Physical Abuse: Inflicting, or threatening to cause physical pain or injury to a vulnerable senior, or depriving them of a basic need (food, shelter, etc.)

Emotional Abuse: Inflicting mental pain, distress on an elder through verbal or nonverbal acts.

Sexual Abuse: Non-consensual sex of any kind.

Exploitation: Illegally taking, misuse or concealment of funds, property or the assets of a senior.

Neglect: Refusal or failure by those responsible to provide food, shelter, health care or protection for a vulnerable senior.

Abandonment: The desertion of a vulnerable senior by anyone who has assumed the responsibility for care or custody of that adult.
